As a mom, healing from struggles with food and body is not only a gift to yourself but to your family too. She opens up about how a loss in her family opened her up to the idea of food as comfort at a young age. Joni shares how her struggles progressed over the years and affected her as a mom and wife. She and Jessi talk about her struggles with binging and purging and how she decided it was time to pull herself out of this struggle. Joni discusses what’s helped her the most through the course and her advice for other people who are pursuing healing. She talks about taking the power back in her life and overcoming dark times she was facing.
